Our Services

What Services We Offer

We Consult and Assist You With Filing Excess Funds and Unclaimed Property Claim Forms

Records Management

Using due diligence, we research records of revenue collection, finance management, tax rates, property auctions, excess funds lists and property deeds and titles to determine who is rightfully owed excess funds and how much is owed to each party of interest.

People Search

We use public records to find current addresses, phone numbers and email addresses to locate rightful owners of excess funds. The county sends excess fund notifications to your address at the time of the tax deed sale. The address of the auctioned property where you no longer reside.

Free Consultation

We will discuss the property’s sold price at the tax deed auction. The taxes that were owed and deducted from the sale of the property. The amount that may be owed to you and how to file a claim for the excess funds. We’ll provide you the link to the county’s webpage if you decide to file a claim on your own.

Claim Packets

We will gather all forms and documents needed to successfully submit a claim for excess funds to the county. Including but not limited to: excess funds claim form, valid identification and proof of ownership of the funds.

Notary Visits

We can setup a visit with a notary in a safe environment to notarize the legal forms and documents for excess funds claim processing. Notaries will travel to homes, jobs, restaurants, libraries and other safe places to assist with completing the claim packet.

Claim Filing

After the excess funds claim packet has been returned, we (along with legal counsel if needed) will submit the packet to the county for review, approval and disbursement of excess funds to the rightful owner.
